About the Course
With over 6,000 U.S. tax exempt nonprofits being formed every month, this rapid growth has brought fierce competition for traditional funding. This is an introductory training to introduce newly formed nonprofit leaders to charitable funding.
Intended Audience
This course is designed to help pre-startup, newly formed, and small to mid sized nonprofits increase their acumen for available funding resources. Suitable for all levels of experience.
Outcomes
Course participants should be able to:
- Describe the 4 “Must Have” planning documents.
- Understand where to locate grant-makers.
- Describe an unsolicited grant request.
- Understand why grant applications are declined.
