About Reiki
Reiki is a beautiful life-force energy and a healing practice originating in Japan that is classified by the National Institute of Health as a form of complementary medicine.
Reiki has been integrated in over 800 hospital settings nationwide. These include the Cleveland Clinic, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Johns Hopkins, The Children’s Hospital, Boston, and the Mayo Clinic.
The Cleveland Clinic uses Reiki for the following conditions: cancer, infertility, Parkinson’s disease, psychological illnesses, chronic pain, digestive problems and stress-related diseases.
Studies on Reiki state that this form of energy healing brings on a peaceful, deep relaxation – Reduces stress – Stimulates the body’s immune system – Stimulates tissue and bone healing after injury or surgery – and Supports the well-being of the client who is receiving medical treatments.

Where is Reiki Offered?
Reiki is offered in personal, professional, and clinical settings. It is used in hospital Emergency Rooms, Pre-Op, Operating Room, Post Op, Oncology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, and Internal Medicine.

Our Reiki Level I and II training is offered through our Global Soul Academy, and is one of the most thorough and comprehensive available. It includes a combination of the Western style as introduced by Mrs. Takata and the Japanese style. On completion of the Reiki Level II class, you will be certified as a Reiki Practitioner.
Reiki Level I
In this 1-day class, you will be taught how to allow this divine energy to come from the light above, through your heart, and out your hands. You will be attuned to Reiki energy, and following your attunement, you will be opened to the flow of Reiki enabling you to channel its energy to yourself.
In the Reiki Level I workshop you will learn:
- The nature of Reiki energy
- The 5 Reiki Principals
- The Self-healing hand placement system
- How to give Reiki to yourself
- Gassho meditation
- Byosen Scanning: Using the sensitivity in the hands to locate areas needing healing within your body or aura
- Reiji-Ho: Using inner guidance to know how and where to treat
- Kenyoku: Dry bathing, a method to purify your energy field
- An Attunement for Reiki I is given
This workshop includes Holy Fire® III Reiki I attunement certificate, and a Reiki Healing Guide. The complete manual for Reiki I & II, “Reiki The Healing Touch” by William Rand is required, but is not included. Please purchase your manual from the Reiki.org Online Store. Digital Copies are $15.95 and Print Copies are $22.95.

Reiki Level II
In this 1-day class, you will build on the teachings of Reiki’s divine energy and be taught Reiki symbols and how to use them; how to use Reiki techniques for healing yourself or others. You will be attuned to Reiki level II energy, and following your attunement, you will be more opened to the flow of Reiki enabling you to channel its energy to yourself and others.
In the Reiki Level II workshop you will build on your Reiki Level I skills and learn:
- Practitioner Hand placements
- Koki-ho: Using the breath to heal
- Gyoshi-ho: Sending Reiki with the eyes
- Sending Reiki at a distance
- Reiki II symbols: Their meaning, how to draw, activate and use them.
- Practice time is given so students know from experience how the energy of each symbols feels and the results each symbol produces.
- An Attunement for Reiki II is given.
This workshop includes Holy Fire® III Reiki II attunement certificate, a Reiki Healing Guide, and the complete manual for Reiki I & II, “Reiki The Healing Touch” by William Rand.
*Class Prerequisite: You must have a Reiki Level I (or Shodan) Certificate in order to attend this class. You will be asked to email this to us prior to the start of class.
